FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Healdsburg Jazz Announces Lineup for 15th Annual Festival, May 31-June 9, 2013 Sonoma County’s “wine country” will again become “jazz country” when the 15th annual Healdsburg Jazz Festival takes place from May 31 – June 9, 2013 at various indoor and outdoor venues around Healdsburg. HJF Receives NEA Grant for Charlie Haden Tribute

Healdsburg Jazz Festival is recommended for a $20,000 grant to support a tribute to NEA Jazz Master Charlie Haden. Tribute dates are June 1 and 2 and will be part of the larger 10-day festival, May 31 – June 9, 2013. More than 20 performers representing various phases of the bassist-composer-bandleader’s career are slated to participate in this two-day celebration of his music culminating in a concert by the 12-piece Liberation Music Orchestra.
