Jazz at Rodney StrongWhile the music of Roy Haynes, Sheila Jordan and Vijay Iyer at the Healdsburg Jazz Festival finale on June 10 is the big draw, we think you’ll enjoy the wines from our event sponsor, Rodney Strong Vineyards, as well as the food selections on hand. It’s not just your usual event fare, but a special menu from local purveyors of fine festival food. Each sandwich is hand-made, with freshly prepared ingredients, so be prepared to make your order then either return to your seat or take a restroom break to give them time to prepare your meal.

Here’s what you can expect from the two suppliers of lunch and dessert at the event:

Killer Baking Company

Desserts to Die For” is the slogan of the Killer Baking Co., based in Rohnert Park. For the Festival, they’ll be offering three kinds of Brownies, listed below, plus organic Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream

  • Triple Chocolate Heaven Brownie
The most popular flavor is just about chocolate. A balance of ground cocoa, semi-sweet and milk chocolate Chunks and Drops make this #1. The cake-like texture with all the chocolate makes for an amazing taste and lives up to it’s name. Every mouthful is chocolate. When re-heated, you’re left with puddles of chocolate in every bite. This flavor has NO nuts.
  • Blondies
Sweet, rich, and simple! Blondies go great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
  • The Black & White Brownie
Made from 63% Dark Chocolate Chips and Gourmet White Vanilla Chips creating the perfect balance between chocolate and vanilla flavors. It not only looks unique but is fantastic with any ice cream.

We’re hungry already! See you at the Festival Finale on June 10.
