Healdsburg

About Healdsburg

Healdsburg is located on Highway 101 just 65 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco, in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. The town is home to just over 11,000 residents. You will find dozens of wineries in town and surrounding it to visit; wonderful, world-class restaurants in which to dine; romantic places to stay; and a central location for many recreational activities all amid breathtaking scenery, all within a few minutes drive from the downtown plaza.

The Russian River winds around the outskirts of the town, and is a favorite for easy canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. Weather is moderate during the winter, and warm and dry during the summer, often in the 80°s and 90°s F.
