That’s right, the unusually talented Peyroux, often compared to vocal greats of the jazz era, will be in performance in Santa Rosa on April 6. With her smoke-and-whisky vocals, Peyroux is sometimes evocative of the late great Billy Holiday and is perhaps best known for 2005’s “Careless Love.” Now, she says, “Something new has taken hold of me,”  as Peyroux releases her fifth album this spring. It’s full of new music made from new collaborations, with people such as Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones.
