Seasons’ Plaza Sessions End on a High Note

Saturday Oct. 27, show up next for a haute time at Seasons of the Vineyard. It’s the last of their seasonal Saturday “Jazz it UP!” sessions, which in recent weeks has included Batacha Latin Jazz Quartet, Ami Molinelli’s Trio Brazil, and just last weekend the Jazz Mirage Quartet.

Consider it a warm-up for the Members Only Party, with Kasey Knudsen on saxes, Michael Coleman on keyboards with drummer Jon Arkin. Knudsen is a young, hip sax player also on the SSU staff, and she’s recruited some talented company to show off their “eclectic combination of musical worlds,  from jazz and Afrobeat to art rock, indie, pop, film, and more experimental improvised music.”

You could say the gifts and wines at this “tasting bar and boutique” are also an eclectic, quality combination. Come by Seasons of the Vineyard at 113 Plaza St. and check out the shopping, the Ferrari-Carano and Lazy Creek wines, and the music. Something for everybody.

Ferrari-Carano’s Seasons of the Vineyard Tasting Bar & Boutique on the Healdsburg Plaza announced their “Jazz It Up” Saturday live, wine and jazz concert series with bi-weekly Saturday afternoon shows from July 14 though October 27, at 4 – 6pm,

Guests will sip wines from Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery and Lazy Creek Vineyards while enjoying live jazz performances of an amazing line-up of musicians from this area as well as Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and Seattle.
